What is MiFi?

MiFi stands for mobile Wi-Fi. A MiFi hotspot is a wireless router that lets you connect multiple devices, via a cellular network, to the internet. It uses a SIM card to connect to a cellular network and broadcasts a Wi-Fi signal that your devices can connect to.1 MiFi is portable, and easy to use, because it doesn’t require a Wi-Fi or ethernet connection to work.

Some well-known examples of MiFi are: Netgear Nighthawk M1, Inseego 5g MiFi m2000, and Verizon Jetpack MiFi 8800L. However, there are many other MiFi devices available on the market that vary in terms of network coverage, speed, and number of devices that can connect.
