Designed to help K-12 teachers incorporate climate content into their classroom curricula, this online course benefits educators hoping to meaningfully engage students and equip them with the skills to be informed leaders and citizens in a climate-changed world.

Is this course valuable to me as a non-science teacher?

Absolutely! This course is designed to appeal to educators of all disciplines, particularly social sciences. There is no minimum level of climate knowledge required to take this course and there are resources, tools, and content for non-science and science teachers alike.

What if I don’t have a strong background in climate science or climate knowledge generally?

This course is for you! Our first week covers climate basics and then the course continues to tie these basics into standard pedagogy, tools, and curricular options for educators in various disciplines.
