Curriculum

Maryville’s Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Big Data online program is designed to provide a laser-focused, in-depth overview of core big data concepts including big data analytics, deep learning, and computer programming languages. The 15-credit program places an emphasis on hands-on learning that you can apply in your career right away.

No application fees or GMAT/GRE scores are required. With three start dates per year, you can align your educational journey with your schedule. Maryville considers all transfer credits, even if you earned them years ago.

Eligible applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. You must have demonstrated knowledge of undergraduate statistics and intermediate algebra/algebraic logic. You may be considered for provisional admission if your GPA doesn’t meet these requirements.

You’ll need to submit the following materials to apply:

  • A simplified, no-cost online application

  • Official transcripts for all institutions previously attended. (Maryville will request transcripts for you.)

  • Résumé

  • English proficiency scores (International applicants may be required to submit scores that meet a certain threshold.)
