In the online Bachelor of Arts in Sociology program, you’ll engage in a range of relevant course topics, including community responsibility, mental illness, human sexuality, juvenile delinquency, terrorism, race, ethnicity, and crime.

Admissions

Maryville’s hassle-free application process is free, mobile-friendly, and takes about 20 minutes to complete. No SAT/ACT scores are required, and Maryville will request transcripts for you.

To be eligible for admission, students need to have earned a high school diploma or GED with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Early Access allows you to get a leg up on your master’s degree

Maryville’s Early Access program allows students to earn up to 12 credits toward their master’s degree during the tail end of their undergraduate degree. Once a student completes 90 credit hours or more of their bachelor’s degree (with a GPA of 3.25 or better), they may be eligible to get a head start on their master’s degree. Early Access allows you to take graduate-level courses that count toward your undergraduate and graduate degrees. Graduate-level Early Access courses are billed at the undergraduate tuition rate — so you can save time and money.
