Gain hands-on experience with the program’s 100-hour practicum and 600-hour in-person internship component, and work alongside mental health professionals and other experts in the field. The internship — a clinical training — is a key component to the curriculum and provides you with the opportunity to apply the theories learned in the classroom to real-world settings.
Learners are also required to attend one in-person immersion on the NYU campus in New York City where they build connections with faculty and peers, hear from leading experts, and experience the unique energy and multicultural communities of the City itself.
