This course "AI and Gen AI for Supply Chain Transformation" is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the role of AI and Gen AI in transforming supply chain management. The course covers the fundamentals of supply chain management, associated processes, data, analytics, teams, and technologies for managing the supply chain.
The course will cover topics such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, and how these technologies are used in supply chain management. The course will then delve into the applications of AI and Gen AI in supply chain management, including demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, sourcing optimization, and logistics management. Learners will understand how AI and Gen AI can help organizations improve their supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
The course will also explore the benefits of using AI and Gen AI in supply chain management, such as improved accuracy, speed, and decision-making. Learners will understand how AI and Gen AI can help organizations gain a competitive advantage and drive business success. The course will also discuss the challenges associated with implementing AI and Gen AI in supply chain management, such as data quality, privacy, and security concerns. The course will feature case studies and real-world examples.
Basic understanding of supply chain management process and data, either gained through graduate-level science, or engineering courses or 2 to 5 years of experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or data analytics areas.
No pre-requisite knowledge of AI, ML, Big Data, or Cloud Computing is required.

Week 3: AI and Gen AI applications for Supply Chain and Manufacturing
Why and how supply chain and manufacturing processes can add tremendous business value by adopting cutting-edge AI and Gen AI applications. Industry-leading use cases and examples.
Week 4: Risks, challenges, and implementation recommendations
What are the risks and challenges of adopting AI and Gen AI for Supply Chain transformation? Implementation recommendations for minimizing the risks and maximizing business value.
