While there are no formal prerequisites for this course, it’s highly recommended that you have a basic understanding of programming, in particular using R. You should be familiar with different data types and basic data structures, including objects, functions, vectors, matrices, data frames, and factors; and have used them practically in the past. If you don’t yet have an understanding of these concepts, you can explore the bridging resources made available in the course brochure.

Assessment is continuous and based on a series of practical assignments completed online. In order to be issued with a digital certificate, you’ll need to meet the requirements outlined in the course handbook. The handbook will be made available to you as soon as you begin the course.
