In 18 months, our apprenticeship can have you ready to break into a software developer role where you provide technical solutions at your organisation. No previous programming skills are required to apply.

Apprenticeship eligibility criteria

To be eligible to apply to the fully funded apprenticeship programme, you must:

  • be at least 18 years of age

  • live in England

  • have the right to work in the UK

  • have lived in the UK/EEA for the past three years

  • Get permission to participate from your employer

  • not be already enrolled in full-time education at the start of the apprenticeship

The apprentice must also have achieved or be capable of achieving level 2 maths and English prior to taking the End-Point Assessment.

Application process

To apply to the fully funded apprenticeship programme, you will need to:

  • Submit an application, including English and maths GCSE certificate (if achieved)

  • Participate in a prequalification session

  • Receive prequalification decision

  • Gain support from your employer

  • Complete and sign documentation

  • Enrol
