Admissions

Maryville’s hassle-free online application process empowers you to accelerate the next steps in your career or educational journey. No application fees or SAT/ACT scores are required. The program offers three start dates per year for greater flexibility so you can align your educational journey with your schedule. Maryville considers all transfer credits, even if you earned them years ago.

You’ll need to submit the following materials as part of your application:

  • A simplified, no-cost online application

  • Official transcripts

  • English proficiency scores may be required

To be eligible for admission into the Certificate in Software Development, you must have earned a high school diploma or GED with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. If you previously earned college credits, you should have a minimum college GPA of 2.0. (If your GPA does not meet these requirements, you may be considered for provisional admission.)
