Admissions

Maryville University offers a no-cost, hassle-free online application process, with guidance from a dedicated admissions advisor and you can choose from three start dates. We consider all transfer credits, and will even request transcripts on your behalf. Applicants who don’t meet the GPA requirements may be considered for provisional admission for certain programs.

To apply for the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Cybersecurity Penetration Testing program, you will need:

  • A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or equivalent degree from a foreign academic institution. 

  • Minimum grade point average (GPA) of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale from an accredited university. Students with a GPA of 2.50-2.99 on a 4.0 scale may be conditionally admitted. Students with a GPA below 2.50 will need to submit a personal statement/addendum for consideration.

  • Official transcripts from any previously attended colleges or universities. (Maryville will request transcripts for you.) 

  • An official transcript from the bachelor degree-granting institution is required. 

  • English proficiency scores. (International applicants may be required to submit scores that meet a certain threshold.)
