What our learners are saying

"I was pretty new to the tech world, but now that I am training for a career in the field, so much of what I learned is coming into play. I chose to attend [the boot camp] to start the career that I want for the rest of my life and … I am now headed in the right direction. It has had a great impact on my life so far. … I left my previous career behind and won't be looking back."

Scott S.

The Cybersecurity Boot Camp at UCI Continuing Education alum

"As an IT professional, I chose to attend the cybersecurity program because in my previous job I did not have a lot of hands-on expertise with work directly with information security. The class allowed me to take the knowledge that I gained from earning the CISSP certification and put it into practice. I truly believe that the training that I received allowed me to market myself in a new way and it has paid off!"

Matt P.

The Cybersecurity Boot Camp at UCI Continuing Education alum

"I chose to attend the boot camp because I wanted to get hands-on experience with technology in the security industry. It really has impacted my life for the better because I gained valuable experience that I was able to put on my resume and land[ed] a job in security."

Meaningful outcomes.

Join the front lines of digital defense.

The economic impact of cyber crime is growing: In 2020, the average cost to businesses affected by a data breach in the United States was $8.64 million, up 32% from 2015, and nearly double the global average.Footnote 1

Information security is a fast-growing field.

You can help protect organizations and populations — and change your entire career trajectory. As the world grows more connected and automated (and therefore, more vulnerable), the demand for cybersecurity specialists is on the rise. Information security is one of the fastest-growing fields,Footnote 2 and No. 6 on Glassdoor’s Top 50 Jobs in America.Footnote 3
