Vanessa Sayos del Castillo
About Me
A Spanish national, born and raised in Barcelona, she studied Political Science and Administration at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. In successive years, she completed a Masters in International Relations at the Diplomatic School of Madrid. Also, she made a Postgraduate Specialization in Political and Electoral Management at the UAB. She obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at New York University (NYU) where she also certified as a Project Management professional and got the PMP certificate from the Project Management Institute. Vanessa has been working in public sector project management for more than fifteen years, initially linked to the Ministry of Economy of Spain with reimbursable cooperation funds, later as head of governance projects with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID ) and since 2012 as a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) carrying out project planning workshops in the start-up phase and in advanced execution and facilitating courses in project management through the PM4R methodology for public executing units and organizations of the civil society.
