Dan M. Wiley holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University in Comparative Literature with a specialization in medieval languages. He has published on early Irish narratives, ghost stories, and saints’ lives. He currently teaches composition for Thomas Edison State University, where he has worked as a mentor and occasional subject matter expert since 2015.
When not teaching, Dr. Wiley can be found at AquaDiving School where he serves as a PADI-certified divemaster and master scuba diver. He regularly dives Bonne Terre, Bull Shoals, Haigh Quarry, and Mermet Springs, and has enjoyed wreck dives in St. Thomas and reef dives in the Bahamas. Dr. Wiley is also a competitive archer, marble collector, and amateur saxophonist. He plays a Yamaha Custom Z tenor and a P. Mauriat System 76 Second Edition soprano.
