About me

Dr. Aziz is working as Associate Professor of Soil & Environmental Sciences at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. He has worked as honorary faculty/visiting scientist at University of Giessen, Germany and University of Western Australia. He is a lead Partner in a UKRI funded research project "South Asia Nitrogen Hub" and "International Nitrogen Management Systems". He has won two best research paper awards and two research productivity awards from Govt. of Pakistan. He has produced 5 Ph.D. students and 40 M.Sc. in the field of Soil Science. He has also published about 100 research articles in reputed Journals. Recently he published a book as a lead editor "Nitrogen Assessment: Pakistan as a case study". His major research interests are "exploring genetic diversity among crop plants for nutrient use efficiencies, nutrient budgeting particularly nitrogen and phosphorus in soils and agri systems, use of biowaste materials as fertilizers.
