Stijn Bogaerts

Prof. Dr. Stijn Bogaerts is a staff member at the physical and rehabilitation medicine department of the University Hospitals Leuven and assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine at KU Leuven. He works in Pellenberg and at the Sports Medical Advice Center (SMAC) where he provides medical guidance to various athletes in various sports, as well as several clubs, federations and elite sporting schools (football, volleyball, etc.). He combines this clinical work with scientific research into the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue injuries, as well as rehabilitation of common sports injuries.
