About me

Sonia Dickinson is an accomplished academic leader, researcher and educator, currently serving as the Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor, Faculty of Business and Law, Curtin University. With over two decades of experience in higher education. Sonia has made a significant contribution to the field of education, particularly in the area of online and blended learning, with her impact recognised though University and National awards.

Sonia’s discipline research is focused on Communication and Engagement, and she has been published in various Tier 1 ERA ranked marketing journals including the European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Business Research, and the Journal of Marketing Management. Sonia is a member of the editorial review board for the Journal of Marketing Communication, is the recipient of a highly competitive Australian Research Council Discovery Grant, and is engaged in active supervision of Doctoral and Masters Research candidates.
