About me

Rawan is currently pursuing a PhD at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where her research focuses on the transformative potential of virtual exchange as a mechanism for reconciliation.

With a wealth of experience as a Virtual Exchange facilitator, Rawan has not only facilitated numerous Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges but has also played a pivotal role in the development of Arabic and English Virtual Exchange programs. Her extensive involvement in virtual exchange dates back to 2013, initially as a participant and later as a facilitator, coach, mentor, program officer, and partnerships officer. This diverse range of roles has provided her with invaluable insights and a deep understanding of the power of dialogue and virtual exchange in fostering understanding and collaboration. In addition to her virtual exchange background, Rawan has to date devoted nearly eight years to lecturing at the Law and Political Science Faculty at Hebron University, Palestine.
