About me

Kristin Fontichiaro is a clinical associate professor at the University of Michigan School of Information. She was a member of the inaugural class of Emerging Leaders from the American Library Association and named a 2012 Library Journal Mover and Shaker. She is the author of numerous books for librarians and educators, series editor for Cherry Lake Publishing’s award-winning Makers as Innovators series for middle-grade readers, and the forthcoming Makers as Innovators Junior and Data Geek data literacy series. She speaks nationally and internationally on professional practice; information, data, and digital literacy; and data literacy.
