About me

Professor Jusuke JJ Ikegami started teaching at Waseda University in 2006, and became a Professor for the Waseda Business School (WBS) in 2015. He graduated from the School of Commerce, Waseda University before studying an MA in International Relations at the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK. He received an MBA from Cambridge University (Judge Business School), England in 1997 and a Doctor of Business Administration from Hitotsubashi University, Japan in 2015. After working as an associate for Boston Consulting Group (Tokyo), he joined MARS Japan as a Brand Manager. He then became the Director of New Business Development for Softbank EC Holdings and has also served on the Board of Directors for several other international organizations such as PharmNetwork,. He also served as a Chief Venture Capitalist at Nissay Capital (The largest institutional investor in Japan). He is currently an outside corporate (independent outside director) at Toyo Inc SC Holdings (where he is still a board member).
