She’s currently serving as a senior fellow at the Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health, and as a liaison representative for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) on the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Her research focuses on the epidemiology and prevention of infectious diseases, such as rotavirus, measles, mumps, rubella, polio, and pediatric HIV infection. She also led one of the first national centers focused specifically on using precision-medicine tools to improve the health of underserved ethnic and racial groups.
