About me

Doug is a highly experienced finance tutor with Cambridge University and the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT). He also has extensive experience in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, including KPMG, Virgin Entertainment Group and Abcam plc. Doug is a chartered accountant and corporate treasurer who enjoys distilling his expertise into financial education, executive mentoring and coaching. He is a writer for the ACT’s journal The Treasurer, and principal contributing editor of the Treasurer’s Wiki, an on-line glossary of financial terms: https://wiki.treasurers.org/wiki/Main_Page.

Doug is also a mentor and trainer for Toastmasters International’s public speaking, communication and leadership programmes. He enjoys helping people to learn and apply their skills in practical and meaningful ways.
