Clinical Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Applied Oral Sciences & Community Dental Care at The University of Hong Kong
Dr Andrew Nalley received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2012. He then worked as a general dentist in Texas for several years, utilizing treatments such as CAD/CAM restorations, guided implant placement, impacted third molar extractions, and a growing interest in imaging and CBCT. He then pursued his interest in radiology further by completing a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (OMFR) at the University of Washington in Seattle. After completing this residency training, he accepted a position as a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Washington, where he stayed from 2017 until 2024. He accepted a position as Clinical Assistant Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Hong Kong, the Faculty of Dentistry, in August 2024. His previous research experience has been mainly focused on radiological findings of TMD in CBCT and MRI images, and his current research pursuits are related to AI integration to imaging techniques as well as Ultrasound models and evaluation of bone.
