The online master’s in applied behavior analysis includes hands-on and field-based experiences in or near the learner’s community. These are crucial opportunities for practicing skills learned in class, receiving feedback, and relating practice to theory.
The practical applied behavior analysis experience is also a chance to learn directly from board-certified supervisors and mentors at approved placement sites. Prior to graduation, learners will earn at least 750, or half, of fieldwork hours required by the BCBA certification process. Learners will also complete a faculty-mentored capstone project, wherein they conduct applied research with the support of a faculty mentor.
