Admissions

Whether you come from a technical background or have some technical experience, our admissions team looks at your application holistically. Applicants to the Master of Data Analytics course need to have and be able to show proof of: a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, or a bachelor’s degree in a non-cognate discipline and one year of relevant work experience.

  • TOEFL/IELTS scores (for international applicants)

Capstone project and additional graduate offerings

The capstone project applies and integrates what learners have gained from their coursework to large-scale data projects and real-world environments. You will have the opportunity to work on a project relevant to your desired industry and work with learners who share similar interests. 

The University of Sydney also offers a graduate certificate and graduate diploma designed for professionals to build data analytics skills and hands-on experience. You can complete the certificate in 24 credit points or the diploma in 48 credit points. With either route, you will still be able to participate in the capstone project.
